MXR EVH5150 Overdrive: the reinvented Overdrive The fruit of a close collaboration between the MXR team and Eddie van Halen, this overdrive delivers a huge panel of typical tube amp sounds, from a light and creamy crunch to overpowering saturations. Its hand-adjusted multi-stage Mosfet technology and numerous settings provide maximum versatility. The Boost switch provides additional gain and compression, and the Gate setting will subtly eliminate interference that can occur at high gain. Find the classic high gain sound of Eddie's first albums but also the more modern and articulated sounds he likes today.
