Jackson Audio booster Prism Blue

Designed as the ultimate pedalboard tool for a musician, the Prism is a buffer, booster, preamp, equalizer and overdrive, all in a superb compact stainless steel case! The ± 15dB active equalization is far reaching and has absolutely no interaction with the Body and Tone settings. So the Tone setting only affects the high frequencies without modifying the low frequencies, and vice versa for the Body setting. As a booster / preamp, the Prism includes 3 of the most distinct boosts: - Trans: a clear transparent boost without coloring of the sound. - Amp: a boost that simulates a tube amp. - Color: a silicium treble booster. Each booster / preamp circuit is completely discrete and is contained within its own true bypass loop, so there is never any additional circuit in the audio path. Jackson Audio recommends putting the Prism in your signal chain first because its active EQ and treble booster will be more effective right after the guitar. The Prism is a true bypass pedal with Jackson Audio's silent activation circuitry and uses a silent relay footswitch for its bypass. At the very end of the Prism is a buffer which reinforces the signal and preserves the sound regardless of the complexity of your pedalboard or the length of your cables. Settings - Tone: active equalization ± 15dB for high frequencies. - Body: active equalization ± 15dB for low frequencies. - Pre-Gain selector: chooses among 3 gain levels for each boost circuit: High for heavy saturation and solo, Med for moderate and rhythmic saturation, Low for dynamic clean sound. - Boost: defines the general boost level, think of it as a general volume that works in tandem with the Pre-Gain selector to have the right level of gain / boost ratio. - Circuit selector: chooses among 3 boost circuits: Color for a vintage silicon treble booster, Amp for a very musical Mosfet boost which simulates the tonal response of a saturated tube amp, Trans for a Ultra-transparent 18-volt Mosfet boost.
