Jackson Audio booster Amp Mode

The Amp Mode is a Mosfet transistor booster and it's exactly the same circuit as in the Prism preamp, one of the brand's most famous pedals, and its Amp mode. Mosfet transistors are often used for boost circuits because they have a lot of amp-like clipping characteristics. Many Mosfet boost circuits on the market produce a cracking noise when turning their boost control. Jackson Audio fixed this problem and Amp Mode remains perfectly silent. Use the Amp Mode as a preamp for your overall signal, a boost to overdrive an overdrive pedal even more, or as an overdrive post boost to clarify and bring out your guitar in the mix. The Amp Mode can be powered from 9 to 18 Volts, has a true bypass and a compact housing with jacks on the top. The single Boost setting defines the overall boost of Amp Mode. This is a real boost in the sense that when the setting is at the minimum it does not boost the signal at all and instead acts as a buffer that boosts your guitar signal to avoid any loss of tone associated with the using effect pedals or long cables.
