Maxon overdrive Vop-9 Vintage Od Pro

The VOP9 adds natural, warm undertones like a good vintage tube amp would. It combines clean boost and overdrive and when the Drive setting is at minimum, the overdrive circuit is attenuated by -12dB while the clean boost is at +6dB. When increasing the Drive setting, the overdrive gradually takes over the clear boost. The overdrive circuit is the same as the OD9 and uses a diode in the negative feedback loop of the op amp. An internal switch allows the pedal to be switched to 18 volts and eliminates the unintentional distortion created by high-output mics or passive mics.
