After spending a number of years on display at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the original KH-3 was returned to LTD so that they could reference it for this 30th anniversary edition. The LTD Kirk Hammett Signature KH-3 Spider 30th Anniversary is a reissue of the original model with some improvements. In addition to the neck-through construction and an extra-thin U-shaped speedy neck with an ebony fingerboard, LTD added a scalloped fingerboard from the 17th fret.
