The Plasma Eurorack Plasma Drive "is the result of a collaboration between Gamechanger Audio and Erica Synths, a Latvian brand known for its modular synthesizers. Erica Synths is made up of a team of visionaries, engineers and musicians who create Modules and instruments differ in sound, look and functionality Like the Plasma Pedal, the Plasma Eurorack increases the signal to 3000 Volts and transforms it into a series of continuous high voltage discharges in a xenon filled lamp. In essence, you are playing on a flash of electricity and the electric shocks produced by your instrument are instantly converted back into an analog audio signal. The result is extremely heavy, fast and responsive distortion with tons of one-of-a-kind character! The Plasma Eurorack introduces the sound of the Plasma Pedal to the modular world. The pedal functions are complemented by a CV (Control Voltage) control of the n level of distortion and a Dry / Wet setting to blend the original sound and effect. The module also features tracking oscillators for a new upper octave function and 2 lower octaves, adding even more harmonics to the original signal. Tracking oscillators can be turned on / off manually or via trigger signals. The Eurorack Plasma is powered by a conventional Eurorack tablecloth and its consumption is approximately 250 mA.
