Two EL34 lamps spice up the traditional Bassman recipe made up of three 12AX7 lamps on the preamp stage.
This exotic flavor is further enhanced with a "Pontage des Canaux" sauce via the dedicated "Both" entry for a tasty crunch and punchy attack.
The "Normal" and "Bright" inputs and the traditional tone stack are still on the menu to deliver timeless Fender sounds. The output power adjustment - variable from one to 45 watts - tames the raw power of the Bassbreaker 45, and its two Celestion® V-Type 12 "speakers with 8 Ohm impedance provide full, very rocky sound, at any volume level, without sacrificing gain or bass.
The 4-8-16 Ohms output switch provides compatibility with any cabinet, but the Bassbreaker 45 Combo excels when combined with the Bassbreaker BB-212 extension cabinet.
The cosmetic details have also been revised - the dark lacquered tweed, the black fabric grille, the white light indicator and the block-type Fender logo - and give a majestic appearance on stage, while the large potentiometers allow you to find your sound in no time.
