Cordoba classical guitar Friederich CD PF
The Cordoba Luthier Select series represents the marriage of advanced instrument design and refined craftsmanship. Handcrafted by a team of elite luthiers in small series, the Luthier Series guitars breathe new life into the designs that have shaped the modern nylon string guitar. For over 15 years Cordoba has been perfecting the art of nylon stringed instruments, working with teams around the world to bring authentic nylon string sound with the playability and longevity that a modern musician demands. While Cordoba has grown in tandem with the quality of their manufacture, it is with great pride and satisfaction that Cordoba pays homage to the greatest Lutherans with the release of the Luthier series. Daniel Friederich was influenced by the legendary French luthier Robert Bouchet and established himself as one of the most respected and influential luthiers in the world. Based in France, Daniel Friederich made a name for himself not only with the silky, responsive sound of his instruments with powerful bass that project even in a large hall, but also with the graceful body shape and distinctive sculpted head adorning his guitars. The Luthier Friederich model pays homage to these construction methods, using Friederich's seven fan-shaped struts with delicately hand-carved spruce braces and a solid Canadian cedar top. With its elegantly grained solid rosewood back and sides and rosewood binding, the understated beauty of the Friederich is made real with an intricate wood rosette and iconic sculpted head. The Friederich is finished using an ultra-thin polyurethane finish to protect the delicate instrument without hampering the vibrations of the soundboard. Complete with an included deluxe humidified Archtop wooden case, the Luthier Select Friederich offers players a chance to enjoy the exemplary sound and feel of one of the earliest luthiers in history.
