The Megabyte ™ starts from the now famous Kilobyte ™ with 2 digital lo-fi chips for more delay time, a tap tempo, trails or a real bypass and an even more extreme Havoc footswitch. All with fairly intuitive and direct settings. Less time browsing menus, more time playing the guitar! The Caroline Guitar team added the features most requested by their users while maintaining the sound quality they love so much. This includes a tap tempo with 3 divisions, twice the delay time (up to 1200 ms) for better fidelity, the choice between a real bypass and trails (so that the effect stops after deactivation) and an even edgier Havoc footswitch, paired with the tap tempo footswitch to go with the + 21dB overdrive preamp and modulation for the delay section. Finally, inside are settings for 100% dry (effect only) and maximum dynamics for the havoc / oscillation section. Starting from the Kilobyte ™, the Megabyte ™ uses the same structure and approach as the Météore ™ and the Somersault ™. While the digital lo-fi chip determines the delay, the initial gain, the original signal, the feedback, and the output stage are all analog.
