SOUND CREATION Timbre section The timbre section of the Nord Drum 3P offers 3 synthesis modes, each one endowed with its distinctive character. The subtractive mode offers classic base waves, sinusoidal, sawtooth, square and rectangular, and excels in creating synthetic drum sounds and classic effects with a dynamic response filter. The resonant synthesis mode offers a wide range of complex spectra inspired by materials such as drum skins, marimba, vibraphone, tines and cymbals. Unique feature: the ability to tune the harmonic spectrum. The FM synthesis mode presents 6 FM algorithms in which the timbre controls the amplitude of modulation and the spectrum controls its frequency. The spectrum can also be dynamically controlled. Noise section The noise section allows you to add texture to your sound. It includes 3 types of filters, pass

-band, with adjustable resonance and cutoff frequency as well as an effective dynamic filter control. The noise decline can be truncated, exponential, or linear. Click section The click section specializes in ultrashort sound attacks. A wide range of clicks is available as well as a level control to find the right setting with which the click merges with the other elements to form a single coherent sound. Distortion and equalizer The Distort parameter lets you harden your sounds with a Crush effect of sampling frequency reduction, non-linear distortion or ring modulation. Each channel also has a dedicated equalizer with gain and Q ratio adjustment. Flexible connection The Nord Drum 3P benefits from super-responsive pads but can also be triggered via Midi and has a dedicated input for a pad or trigger kick drum. New Factory Bank The new factory bank includes 10 categories of preprogrammed sounds that can easily be assigned to any of the 6 pads / channels. An excellent basis for rehearsals when you need to find the right tones in seconds. The categories are: bass drums, snare drums, toms, percussion, bells, melodic percussion, effects, cymbals, hats and claps of hands. Delay and Reverb Effects The excellent sound quality of the stereo delay and reverb effects lets you add a new dimension to your drum sounds. The intensity of the effect can be easily adjusted for each drum channel.
